June 2022 Goddess Gathering EAT * SPEAK * DANCE! The June 2022 Goddess Gathering was held at the home of Wanda Marie in Arden, North Carolina. The event followed her signature transformational style of CLARITY, FOCUS, ACTION and INTEGRATION. The Ladies were received by a red fabric carpet sprinkled with flower petals. A sign outside the door read, "Entering Your Next Best Self" the theme of the evening. Upon entering, the Ladies received gift bags of various trinkets, including a journal and pen. Just a Few Photos Goddess Gathering Recap Each of the Ladies brought a dish to share which resulting in a delicious feast that kicked off the social hour. This was the first time for many of the Ladies to meet in person after spending so many hours on Zoom together. There were a total of 12 Ladies, 13 including Wanda Marie. There were the North Carolina local ladies joined by Ladies who came from Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio and South Carolina. During dinner, the social hour, the Ladies had an opportunity to practice being a Master Receiver. Names were drawn at random and small gifts where given out. The Ladies receiving could only say "thank you" with their eyes. Not so easy, yet lots of fun and laughter filled the room. After the social hour, it was time for the transformation to begin. CLARITY was about the Ladies getting clear on who they are as their Next Best Self and receiving guidance. Wanda Marie conducted a channeling session to answer questions to help provide some clarity for the Ladies. FOCUS was a journaling process. The Ladies were given private time after the Clarity session to write about who they are as their Next Best Self. They were given index cards and asked to write out an introduction that someone else would read, introducing them to the group as their Next Best Self. ACTION was having the Ladies stand before the group and listen to someone introducing them to the group. Then saying to the group, "I AM _______." Following the applaud, she was presented with a beautiful magnet bracelet and told it was to remind her that she is attracting to her everything she needs for total success. Ron, Wanda Marie's husband, joined the ladies for this part of the event, and after a Lady would receive her bracelet, Ron would also hand her a red rose as a symbol, acknowledging her grace and beauty. INTEGRATION was about stepping into your "Next Best Self." To be fully integration on a cellular level called for moving the body! Ron brought out his djembe African drum and created the beat that had the Ladies moving and grooving, fully getting into the vibe of their Next Best Self. The evening ended with Wanda Marie acknowledging those Mentors who were present for upholding the LadyUp Network and being her rock over the past 3 years. The evening was complete with many receiving new insight, awareness and direction for honoring and stepping into their Next Best Self.

YES to a Beautiful Life! I'm Wanda Marie and Here's My Story I Said "YES " to a Beautiful Joy-filled Life! I have a beautiful life. I’m constantly being told that my life seems magical. And, I feel like I have it all. I have an amazing husband, great relationships with my kids, a lovely home in the Blue Ridge mountains of Asheville NC, plus a vacation home in Central Florida where we winter. I'm the author of a few self-help books, and I've been helping women transform their lives for more than 25 years. At an early age, I learned to take back my power and take ownership of my life. I started with nothing, and have truly created a beautiful life for myself. I grew up in South Central Los Angeles. My parents were barely able to keep a roof over our heads. Mom was a raging alcoholic always armed with a knife and a gun, both of which she used. My step-dad felt it was his duty to try and tame her by challenging her to fist fights that often led to bloodshed. He also felt it was his duty to start teaching me about sex from age 5 until I turned 10 and found the courage to speak up. My mother refused to believe what was happening and suggested I didn't speak of this to anyone. I was shut down, my voice unheard, my heart ached. At 17 I left home, pregnant by the boy next door, got a job at Job Corps and vowed to never return home again. My baby's father begged me for months before I finally said yes and married him. I was too messed up mentally and emotionally to say yes when he first asked. I didn't trust him, I didn't trust men. I didn't trust myself, I didn't trust anyone. I was so depressed, I eventually sought therapy – that didn’t help . It didn’t answer the questions I had. What’s it all about? Why was I in so much pain? I started seeking truth. What is love? What is God? What is real? Who am I, and why am I here? I read the Bible cover to cover twice! I studied various world religions and different spiritual practices. Back in the day, there was a metaphysical bookstore on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles called the Bodhi Tree. I lived at the Bodhi Tree for there I could hang out, sip tea, read and study different theologies as well as attend seminars and workshops on spirituality. I read every spiritual and metaphysical book I could get my hands on. I went to every free workshop I could find and listened to audio lectures from spiritual "New Thought" leaders. I learned that we create our own realities. Wait – What! You mean I created the horrible environment I was brought up in as a child. What! You mean we choose our parents? It all began to make sense once I was willing to take full responsibility for my life’s experiences – which sounds totally crazy! But I kept studding everything and over the years, I mastered how to use the Universal Laws and Spiritual Principles that govern our lives to take back my power from the pain of my past. This once trauma stricken little girl from a totally dysfunctional household became a very empowered young lady who has created a beautiful and magical life for herself. Of course I learned how to create material things such as wonderful homes, cars, vacations and travel, but of more significance, I created loving relationships, a deep spiritual connection, and embraced my life's calling, empowering women to lead amazing lives.
