Wanda Marie is a self-made woman who graduated from Sawyer Business College studying legal sciences. After working as a paralegal for several years, she went to work as a legal administrator for Toyota Motor Sales, USA, helping to establish their in-house Legal Department. She developed programs, strategies and systems for associates to use for running the department smoothly and efficiently, and supervised a team of day and evening support staff. Wanda Marie was always drawn to the healing arts and soon left a successful corporate career to pursue another passion, helping people to create positive and lasting change in their lives. She completed a six-month certification course in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a two-year training program through Coach University for Life Coaching, and received certification as a Master Coach through the Behavioral Coaching Institute . She completed a three-month certification course in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a two-year licensing program through the Agape University of Transformational Studies and Leadership, receiving a license as a Spiritual Counselor and Practitioner. As Wanda Marie changed career paths and launched her private practice, she quickly became a sought-after Spiritual Teacher, Business Consultant, and Professional Coach. Counting among her clients was the late Yolanda King , eldest daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Coretta Scott King. A collaborative relationship developed, helping them realize their shared mission, to bring about more peace and unity to all of humanity. In 2001, Wanda Marie joined forces with Yolanda King and accepted a position as Executive Director of her company, Higher Ground Productions, Inc. In 2005, Yolanda King and Wanda Marie co-authored the book “Embracing Your Power in 30 Days: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Personal Freedom.” In 2007, Wanda Marie wrote and published “Living Inner Peace: A Personal Guide to Greater Happiness,” endorsed by Yolanda King. To apply simply submit the application below. Those chosen as Mentors undergo an orientation on best practices and procedures for mentoring other women. After acceptance into the program, you are free to join us in hosting the live LadyUp Calls as well as utilizing the materials to start your own study groups, workshops, webinars, etc., whatever inspires you to help other women on the path. Mentoring other women is extremely rewarding as you receive the same blessings as those you are mentoring. It’s an awesome gift that you give to yourself. As a Mentor, you receive a license to share the training materials freely. You may not charge for the materials, but you can charge a fee for your time. Should you decide to charge for your LadyUp events, we ask that you tithe back 10% of the proceeds to continue helping the Network grow. The Requirements Complete the six-month empowerment training (at your own pace). Attend at least 2 group calls a month for six months and fully participate in the calls, demonstrating your growth and understanding of the work. After your six month training, you may submit the application below to become a Mentor. You will be given a short written exam. Once you pass the exam, you will be scheduled to attend an interview/orientation with Wanda Marie. Pay your membership fees to remain an active member of the network. Attend the monthly Coffee Meetings (online) with Wanda Marie for your own continued growth and support, as well as guidance for mentoring others. Coffee Meetings are typically held the 1st Thursday of each month at 10:30am EST. Optional: Host at least one call a year for the Network. Mentors who facilitate all 6 chapters may apply for the Legacy Lifestyles Life Coach Certification. We do this because as you help others, you are also improving and sharpening your own coaching skills! We offer a free 20-minute get-acquainted session or a free 30-day guest pass, allowing customers to get to know us and have all their questions answered prior to purchasing any services or membership. For this reason, memberships fees and fees for private sessions are paid in advance and we do not offer refunds. With private sessions, you are paying for the time slot. If you are late, your session will still end at the designated time. If you miss an appointment, you can make up the session via email. If you can give 24 hours advance notice of cancellation, we will do our best to reschedule if we can find a mutually agreeable date within the same week. Digital Courses and Digital Products are copyrighted material and not transferrable. Therefore, we do not offer refunds once the course has been purchase and you have been granted online access to the course. Personal 2-Day Retreats require a great deal of preparation and expense just for you. We go all out! So if you need to cancel your retreat: Cancel within 24 hours after booking for a full refund as we have not done any prep work yet. Cancel 72 hours before your expected arrive date and you are billed 20% to cover prep time and expenses. Canceling with less than 72 hours notice and you are billed 50% of the retreat cost.
